摘要
The electric properties of a non-switching contact are investigated in which adsorption of oil film and electric properties of a contact are related to surface energy of the metal. We first measure adsorption heat and find that it depends on the material of the contact. Secondly, we measure the aging effect of contact resistance. The maximum pressure the oil film can withstand is determined by the oil film strength just before it is broken by the pressure. This value is estimated from the measured adsorption heat and a measured relation between the pressure and the contact resistance confirms that maximum pressure is actually determined by the strength of the oil film.
