摘要
Investigations were conducted to determine the contents of vanadium and arsenic compounds and their possible coprecipitators namely, ions of Fe**3** plus , Mg**2** plus , Al**3** plus and Ca**2** plus in the slurries and slags formed with combustion of GSSh type coals (Donetsk and Silesian) with combined combustion of coal and oil of high sulfur content and peats of Belorussia and Latvia SSR. The quantity of water-soluble compounds of arsenic and vanadium in the filtrates of slurries of ashes and slags and in the clarified waters of hydraulic ash removal plants decreases with increase in pH. When pH equals 9. 0 one of the main precipitating agent for arsenic and vanadium can be magnesium hydroxide; with pH from 3-5 it can be ferric hydroxide.
