摘要
Improvements in digital image processing procedures and various multisensor and multiresolution satellite data in a digital format have led to the integration or merging of multi-spectral data with the high spatial resolution data. Combining high-resolution image data with multi-spectral image data and using color transformation offers new image product in which distinct spectral patterns provided by the Landsat TM are displayed in various hues while the SPOT panchromatic data provide high resolution data in which surface textural patterns are revealed. This approach provides improved separability of land-cover classes and effective visual interpretability.
