International Computer Education Center in Hungary.

An International Computer Education Center has been established in Hungary on January 1, 1973, with the support of the United Nations. Its goal is the instruction of specialists of computer technics on different level, and to improve education in the field of computer sciences. Starting with 1974 it will educate the specialists coming from developing countries to become computer instructors. To support the advanced education the Hungarian Government bought a medium scale computer configuration, which - based on the contribution of the UN Development Programme - will be extended to become a large scale computer system specially designed for teaching. In 1975 the central building of the center will be completed, too.
