Influence of electric current on the organic medium conversion

Current-induced heating is shown to be a leading factor when the microbiology of organic media is exposed to electric current. The effect is most essential for high-charged media. At lower temperatures, the type and intensity of electric field exert much greater effect. Current increases the content of reducing matters and changes the structure of sugars and microorganisms. The action of current is similar to that of boiling for 8 min with 20-30% higher power-consumption.
