摘要：
Discussion of the flexible couplings of the BIBBY type, in which a steel spring has been woven around toothings provided on the circumferences of disks mounted on the driving and driven shafts. It is shown how a complete set of simple equations can be set up to characterize the behavior of such a coupling, and how a coupling can be designed for specific damping properties.
