Simulation principle and parametric analysis for natural circulation test facility of China Experimental Fast Reactor

Simulation criteria for the pool-type fast reactor natural circulation test facility were investigated. Based on the conservation equations of natural circulation and simulation criteria, the geometric and thermal design parameters were calculated for the water natural circulation test facility of China Experimental Fast Reactor. The effects of simulation factor and the primary inlet/outlet temperature difference and friction factor of emergency cooler on the similarity criteria were investigated, and a range of design parameter was proposed for the facility. The simulation problem of the pool-type fast reactor natural circulation test facility is solved theoretically.
