An investigation is conducted on the load-bearing capacity of hybrid composites in pure bending as a function of the bulk content and the nature of the disposition of the layers with different stiffness and strength across the thickness of the composite. An evaluation is given of the possibility of using for this purpose the simplest approaches worked out for beams made of heterogeneous materials. The stated problem was investigated on composites made of the glass-fiber reinforced plastic T-P-GVS-9 and of carbon strip LU-P-0. 2.
