摘要
Complete Navier-Stokes equations are employed for a numerical calculation of the laminar lengthwise flow around a plate moving against the flow or with the flow. They are written in terms of variable functions of the flow-velocity vortex, for the solving of which a transversely implicit scheme is constructed and investigated. It is implemented by a fire-point run and with a special approximation of the Poisson equation for the flow function. The difference analog of the equation for the flow function is solved by an iteration method splitting with variational optimization and cyclic acceleration of the convergence of iterations. Graphs of velocities, flow lines, and drag coefficients for the plate at rest, moving against the flow, and moving with the flow are presented.
