Some Considerations on the Reliability of Primary Distribution Stations.

Calculations are developed to evaluate the influence that station design layout, remote control for operating the equipment, and operation of the plant with a higher load than the rated one have on reliability. Analysis is carried out for stations which serve areas having varied use, such as urban, industrial and rural. The model, to which loads are applied, simulates the actual operation conditions of the station, with reference to load lightening, if any, in the presence of some faults of the system.
