摘要
A thyristor controlled chopper circuit used for the speed control of slip ring induction motor is described. Since the switching takes place on the rotor side, no appreciable current surges are present on the stator side. A wide range of speed variation is obtained by this method and it can be used for any type of drive. The control is very simple and cheap.
