摘要
The condensation heat transfer technique has developed into a recognized mass soldering process in the electronic industry. Production experience has shown that the process provides high quality assemblies and high yields resulting in economic interconnection costs. The inherent properties of condensation heating and the fluids used provide the ability to supply sufficient, yet uniform, energy to reflow solder and avoid degradation or contamination of assemblies. Unlike conventional heating techniques, where the source temperature must be controlled, the maximum temperature an assembly can see during condensation heating is uniquely defined by the fluid chosen. Along this line, this maximum temperature advantage becomes a limitation for an assembly where high temperature (420 degree F) solders must be used.
