摘要
Results are presented of a two-frequency transillumination of the daytime ionosphere of Venus, performed in 1975 by means of the ″Venera-9,10″ satellites. A total of 13 altitude profiles of the electron density were obtained for solar zenith angles of 10 degree less than equivalent to z//o less than equivalent to 87 degree . The inverse radio transillumination problem was solved for the assumption of spherical symmetry, taking into consideration the refraction of radio waves in the planet's ionosphere. The changes in electron density with solar zenith angle in the main and lower maximums are found to agree well with the theory of a simple layer.
