Apparatus is described for study of diffuse-reflection spectra (DRS) and luminescence spectra (LS) in the wavelength range of 0. 2-2. 2 mu m of solids in the initial state and during (or after) irradiation by light, by electrons with energies to 150 kev, and by H** plus , H//2** plus , and H//3** plus ions with energies to 15 kev and at temperatures of 80-470 degree K. DRS and LS are recorded through a single optical channel. Up to 20 specimens are loaded into the chamber simultaneously and DRS and LS are recorded before and after thermal-radiation effects without disturbance of the vacuum. The flows of gas components liberated from the specimens are determined by two ROMS-1 mass spectrometers.
