STRUCTURE OF A THREE-PHASE PSEUDO-LIQUEFIED LAYER.

Considerations of the technique of a three-phase pseudo-liquefied layer which has found broad usage in a series of technological processes, and in which the ascending gas-liquid current passing through the layer of solid material creates a pseudo-liquefied layer, are followed by presentation of an investigation that was carried out to determine the actual contents of solid and liquid phases in a three-phase boiling layer. Mathematical techniques have been used to assess the experimental data. Recommendations for practical use are included.
