Effect of Copper on the Structure and Properties of Low-Carbon Martensitic Steels.

摘要
It is shown that tempering of low-carbon martensitic steels alloyed with copper in the temperature range from 400 to 550 degree C is accompanied by an increase in the strength properties of the steels. The changes in the properties of the steels are caused by the formation of copper-enriched zones or by the precipitation of dispersed particles of E-phase in low-carbon packet-type martensite.
