Hierarchical Structures in Cyberrnetic Modeling of Complex Electric Power Systems.

A generalization of the algorithms of cybernetic modeling is given for the case of two or more hierarchy levels of subsystems represented by functional characteristics. It is shown that the usual model operating only with the concepts, ″element″ and ″system″ , may be considered as a particular case of a generalized approach to cybernetic modeling which envisages the number of subsystem levels as equal to zero. The optimal number of levels that have to be accepted when determining the structure of the model depends on the dimensionality of the problem in question.
