LM Ericsson today offers a complete range of f. d. m. (frequency division multiplex) equipment for assembling terminals for carrier systems providing 120, 300, 960, 2,700 and 10,800 telephone circuits. The M4 construction practice was used in the design of the equipment. It is reported that several pieces of multiplexing equipment have now been modernized and, in various respects, substantially improved. Details of these modernizations are presented.
