摘要：
In order to produce 1,000 million tons in the coming decade, construction of new coal mines and modernization of operative mines must be promoted. To achieve this goal, Japan has been asked to cooperate in the development of several mines. The geology and chemical-petrological nature of coals contained in such mines are commented on with brief notes on exploitation plans for the respective mine.
