SOME CONSIDERATIONS ON THE CONSTITUTIVE LAW IN THERMOPLASTICITY.

This paper deals with a phenomenological theory of large, non-isothermal deformations of solid bodies which can be considered as classical continua. It is assumed that the thermodynamic state of each material element is uniquely defined by the values of a finite set of state variables even in irreversible processes. Such a phenomenological theory is, of course, restricted to a limited class of materials, on he one hand, and to processes occurring not too far from thermodynamic equilibrium, on the other hand.
