A triode with a virtual cathode is considered as an amplifier of electromagnetic waves and the effect is investigated of such system parameters as the Q, system geometry, energy spread, beam energy and, consequently, the current on the radiation power. In this paper we consider the amplification of electromagnetic waves in a reflector triode system, located in a cylindrical resonator.
