摘要
An evaluation of the technique of determining SO//2 concentrations by measuring the SO//2 fluorescence excited at the 2100 A region of the SO//2 UV spectrum was performed. The quenching effects resulting from O//2 concentrations below and CO//2 concentrations above ambient levels gave SO//2 concentration measurements on the order of 5-10% higher than the reference values. Spanning the instrument with an SO//2 in nitrogen span gas resulted in giving readings 30% lower than true values.
