摘要：
The recent rapid development of office and factory automation has brought about a remarkable spread of terminal equipment. Particularly the display devices used in such equipment have gained in functional importance as a man-machine interface. At the same time, there has grown a strong demand for thin, light, high-definition, large and easy-to-see display devices. In response to this demand, various types of flat displays have been developed and put to practical use, including the plasma display panel (PDP).
