摘要
The authors studied the thermochromic effect in Bi-containing glasses of the systems B//2O//3-MgO-Al//2O//3-Na//2O and B//2O//3-SiO//2-MgO-Al//2O//3-Na//2O. It is shown that the level of thermally induced optical density in a steady-state regime is a function only of temperature and does not depend on the dwell time at that temperature. At the same time, the intensity of the color of the experimental glasses is affected by the temperature-time conditions of synthesis; bismuth-oxygen chains form in the glass and two bands in the absorption spectrum correspond to them.
