摘要
Experimental, electrophysiologic, and physiologic-clinical studies in operators of hand-operated high-frequency machines have shown that the most hazardous vibrations are those with intensity peaks in the 125 Hz octave band. It is proposed that the permissible level for the 125 Hz octave be lowered to 105 dB. On shifting the oscillatory velocity maxima to the high-frequency range of the spectrum (500-1000 Hz), the effect of vibration on the body decreases. It is recommended that the frequency range for which standards are set be limited to the 1000 Hz octave.
