摘要
Reaction separation media bring together several physico-chemical processes for effluent treatment in a single stage. This allows cost-savings and a more cost-effective operation of treatment plants. Reaction separation media are highly active materials which combine a facility for chemically reacting with effluent species, adsorption and ion-exchange. Using additives, one or more of these stages can be accelerated. Used in conjunction with the correct type of plant, effluent discharges with low salt-content and free from sulphate, can be assured.
