摘要：
In a laser doppler velocimeter laser light is scattered from particles suspended in the fluid. The power spectrum of the scattered light contains information on the motion of the particles and hence information on molecular and turbulent transport processes. A schematic view of the measurement region is presented and discussed with the use of mathematical equations.
