摘要
The development of a computer system's increasingly complex software is presented. It uses a recently implemented very powerful programming techniques, the object oriented design. This methodology applied to Intel's iAPX432 microprocessor goes beyond structured programming in the quest to produce reliable and maintainable software that can be easily changed and expanded to meet evolving system needs. Like structured programming, it addresses program-control flow, but it also deals with the problem of producing effective data structures. The object-oriented design is examined and compared with structured programming.
