摘要
In the mineral processing industry most of the energy consumed by the plant is in the crushing and grinding operation used to liberate the target minerals from locked particles prior to recovery. Eight theorems are presented to describe the behavior of locked particles during size reduction. They demonstrate that mineral processing circuits may operate more economically by reducing grinding and employing better recovery circuits.
