The Montan-Forschung Dr. Hans Ziller KG speech and data radio transmission system comprises the operation of a communications system over various frequencies via one single induction loop. There is also the option of fully automatic vehicle identification. This system has been very well received by ore mining operators outside Germany. It improves the overview of the transport situation below ground, and can promote safety and productivity. It can also be expanded to include the tele-monitoring of mobile machines, the transmission of performance data with a view to preventive maintenance and the monitoring of operational status.
