摘要
The effect of adding organic additives on the hydrogen content in a high-strength steel was studied in 3% NaCl solution by the electrochemical method. The solubility of hydrogen in high strength steel was found to increase a maximum value with an increased cathodic current. The solubility increased with the time of immersion, and was up significantly after a few days at cathodic current density of more than 10 mA/cm**2. Out of some 80 organic additives that were tested under the conditions of 10** minus **3 mol/l or 1 ml/l at cathodic current density of 2 mA/cm**2, ten substances such as N-Coco, beta -amino propionic acid were found to inhibit greatly hydrogen solubility of the high strength steel in 3% NaCl solution.
