摘要
The problems of stability and vibration of plates and shells are considered. In the present paper the critical parameters of gas flow past an inelastic sector of an infinite cylindrical shell (with Voigt type damping) are determined. A solution is also given for the same structure acted on by a periodic traveling wave, and tensioned by internal gas pressure. The problem is solved by means of a finite Fourier transformation. The equation of frequency is determined for articulated and rigid attachment of the edges.
