摘要
Being environment-friendly, wind energy has a tremendous potential in meeting the energy demands of the nation. With its strategic geographic location, Gujarat is is in a good position to develop and run wind-farms successfully. The wind turbine generator technology has also advanced considerably leading to better efficiency/ output. The state has a gross potential of generating 5,000 MW of wind energy.
