摘要
The trends in design of control systems for pumps, both pneumatic and electric, are outlined. Pumping technology has evolved to match the demands of modern chemical and process requirements and pumps are available with a wide range of alternative pumpheads including glandless types which feature a diaphragm or bellows as the displacing element. The advantages of employing metering pumps are illustrated with the emphasis on the ″Metripump″ system.
