摘要
The accuracy of gamma-glutamyltransferase band (GGT-AMB) compared to alphafetoprotein (AFP) in the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) complicating liver cirrhosis were evaluated. 112 cirrhosis were studied. In all patients, HCC was diagnosed and staged by ultrasound, fine-needle biopsy and spiral computed tomography. Results show that GGT-AMB shows good sensitivity and specificity in the diagnosis of both small and advanced HCC complicating liver cirrhosis. GGT-AMB proves to be a promising tool in the screening of HCC in cirrhotic patients.
