Methods are considered for optimization of static conditions of automatic control systems for once-through boilers. Using the method of piecewise linear approximation with respect to the PK-39 boiler units of the Troitsk central power station, a table of special-purpose function is calculated and a table of optimal transitions is completed. One of the variants of realization of the table of optimal transitions, using units for selecting the maximum, is presented. It has been partly put into operation at the Troitsk power plant.
