摘要：
A general approach to the design of loudspeaker systems for use as monitors in broadcasting studios, is presented. First, the main application areas are classified and the requirements of each class are noted. Technical requirements common to all classes are next discussed in detail with special emphasis on questions of crossover philosophy and amplifier integration. Finally, several possible solutions are synthesized and presented.
