摘要
The effects of carbon content (1.56-3.15 wt%) on formation of carbides in high vanadium (10 wt%) high speed steel were studied systemically. The results show that only vanadium carbides form at the low carbon content, and Cr and Mo element mainly dissolves into vanadium carbides. With the increasing of carbon content, Mo composite carbides form prior to Cr composite carbide after vanadium carbides form. When the carbon content is up to 2.84%, Cr composite carbides can form.
