Sometimes information technology fails in forecasting because the user company has chosen too complex a solution. In this connection, Dutch company Nucletron-Oldelft had a limited budget for upgrading its accounting and logistics software and it now finds generating accurate demand forecast much easier. Nucletron believes that its choice of software will allow them to move to the worldwide system it originally wanted.
