摘要
The St45 and 9KhS steel specimens are subjected to laser hardening via high-speed recrystallization for preparing fine-dispersed structure. The results of tests for wear resistance of hardened layers and measurements of microhardness are analyzed. It is shown that these properties of steels depend essentially on specific sizes of dendritic, grain and cellular structures. A possibility for preparation of required size of structure element, that causes the mechanical properties of steels due to changing in crystallization rate, makes promising laser hardening method.
