摘要
The high torques arising at system and station faults are investigated with respect to their effects on the torsional stressing of turbine and generator shafts. The small amount of vibration damping results in high dynamic stresses, requiring a life expectancy calculation of the shaft to account for material fatigue. A calculation method permitting an assessment of the permissible stressing of the turbosets is proposed. Moreover, the possibilities and limits for mechanical strengthening of the shafts and coupling are shown.
