摘要
A detector system for charged particles consisting of several (20) identical detector elements has been constructed. Each detector element contains a silicon surface barrier detector and a CsI(Tl) scintillator with photodiode readout. Particle identification is obtained by the DELTA E-E method. The design and performance of the detector system are discussed. Results on a pulse-shape analysis of the photodiode signal are also presented.
