摘要
Effects of electron irradiation on the creep and specific electric resistance of Ag-8.75 at. % Zn alloy in temperature range 30-150°C (0.25-0.34 Tm) have been investigated. It was found that creep rate and electric resistance decrease under irradiation due to radiation-induced short range ordering and corresponding alloy strengthening, probably, through segregation of Zn atoms on fault defects (Suzuki effect). The results of thermal activation parameters analysis for thermal and radiation creep as well as an electric resistance postradiation isochronous annealing well agree with proposition that more slow than vacancies Ag-Zn and Zn-Zn (not Ag-Ag) interstitial dumbbells become more stable at temperatures below 80°C. This proposition allows explaining the peculiarities of creep rate evolution after irradiation termination at different temperatures.
