Drawing should enable uniform cold forming of pre-rolled semi-finished products. To obtain thin wires with clean surfaces, for example, attention must already be paid to high strength and excellent surface quality in the tool, drawing die or drawing block. Several new machines, which can be used to finish the surfaces, are available for this purpose.
