摘要：
The results of the analysis of different steel beam column joints are reported. The analysis was done by means of a finite element program for the analysis of stiffened plates. The results show that doubler plates provide an excellent means of strengthening and stiffening the panel zone. Continuity plates on the other hand are only effective in transferring the flange forces in the beams. Design rules are also suggested.
