Reaction Resin Products for the Building Sector, Reinforced and Non-Reinforced Applications.

This report sums up the various uses of reinforced and non-reinforced reaction resins, also pointing out to a noteworthy new development: the Polystal high-performance composite profiles. These special-purpose GRP profiles with high glass fiber concentration and a tensile strength similar to steel have already proved successful in their first trial applications. Investigations to support general approval by the building authorities for use as reinforcement in reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete have been started.
