摘要
A most powerful power generation system used on floating production, storage and offloading vessels (FPSOs) has been manufactured by Peter Brotherhood Ltd. The company has designed and manufactured two condensing turbo-alternator sets for a vessel owned by Single Buoy Moorings. Each set produces 12 MW of power, which is 50 percent more than any steam turbine in operation on an FPSO. The company uses computer aided design (CAD) to create virtual models of every component and the complete turbo-altermator set which is then integrated with software model of installation area, also allows the identification of potential problems.
