In the present paper, hydromagnetic freeconvective flow of a viscous, incompressible, electrically conducting fluid past an infinite, vertical porous flat plate has been studied, when the surface heat flux variation oscillates about a non-zero mean. The effect of Hall currents has been taken into account. Closed form solutions have been derived for velocity, temperature, shearing stress and surface heat flux and the effect of the parameters m (Hall parameter), M (Hartmann number) and Ω (frequency parameter) on the flow characteristics have been shown through several graphs and a table.
