摘要
In this report, the effects of contact pressure on the shear strength, friction coefficient and endurance of MoS//2 films are studied. The shear strength of MoS//2 films increases as the contact pressure is increased, when the surface temperature is almost constant, because the apparent density of MoS//2 films increases during sliding. The frictional coefficient decreases slowly when the contact pressure is increased. The endurance of an MoS//2 film has no close relation with the shear strength of the film. The life of an MoS//2 film depends on the fatigue property of the film, the stress concentration and the adhesion of the powders to the substrates.
