摘要
Salt-bath nitrocarburizing, together with its variants oxidative cooling, mechanical processing and oxidative posttreatment, influences the component properties particularly with regard to wear resistance, corrosion resistance and the running behavior. These process variants are very economical and suitable for use in mass production. Furthermore, they are not harmful to the environment. Numerous industrial applications demonstrate the widespread acceptance and ever-increasing popularity of these process variants. For performing salt-bath nitrocarburizing, both manually operated and microprocessor controlled systems are available.
